19th century stationery case in red morocco leather, gauffered with a diamond-point iron. Fillets of different widths created through hot foil stamping on the the faces.
Gilt initials and brass clasp.
During its restoration, the case was entirely flattened;
Reworking of the leather hinges, recovering of the interior, reconstitution of an expandable pocket in burgundy satin.
Complete cleaning and retinting and a patina for the entirety.
